Calamagrostis x acutifolia 'Karl Foerster'

Feather Reed Grass

These 250 reed-like grasses grow in the temperate Northern Hemisphere and have long leaves that are linear and flat or channeled. They flower with dense, compressed spikelets in the summer.

Reddish-bronze flowers appear in late spring above its tight clumps. Later in the season, flowers turn buff and, in cold areas, the green foliage turns tan.
